Collection: Kat Hardwick

Kat Hardwick spent her childhood in the idyllic French South Pacific, and her adolescence in Brett Whiteley’s Sydney, between its harbour of ultramarine and the breakers of Bondi. She moved to Perth in her early twenties.
Growing up close to the ocean, it was a constant source of awe, wonder, and occasionally fear.
Though she now works from her home studio in the Perth Hills, it is the ebb and flow, the energy and colours of the Australian coastline that continue to inspire her expressive mixed media works.
While painting is her main outlet for creative expression, Kat Hardwick has always had a deep appreciation for all the Arts and brings that into her paintings- the rhythmic, dancing line, the evocative ambiguity and succinctness of poetry in visual form.
