Kay is a local ceramicist with a keen eye for the beauty of the bush. With her guidance you will create a flower, seed pod or bush jewel inspired by her fabulous bush totems along our Sculpture Trail. Light refreshments and glass of wine from our resident Vallee du Venom wines included.

This workshop is designed for kids or the child at heart to paint and decorate ready-to-hang Fairy or Dragon’s Den Doors. Learn sculpting techniques, clay stamping and model-making to create 3D adornments for your magic door.

Weave a little magic in this afternoon workshop exploring different textiles on a traditional loom. Sarah from Light Heart Collective will guide you to thread, tie and tassel your way to creating a beautiful wall hanging to display.

Basket making is an original craft skill from the beginning of time. Come along and weave your own stories into a beautiful basket created by your own hand. This is a perfect workshop for children and their special adult to participate in together. Plenty of tuition and guidance by Sarah of Light Heart Collective will help you make a gorgeous basket for your trinkets and treasure.

Make a beautiful Dream Catcher with feathers, beads and yarns to hang on your bedroom wall. With lots of inspiration and guidance from Sarah of Light Heart Collective you will design and make your perfect Dream Catcher.

Sip on delicious Vallee du Venom wine, graze on a gourmet platter and paint the afternoon away in our beautiful bush setting. Under the guidance of local teaching artist Sherrise Todd each participant will come away with an acrylic on canvas painting of a fabulous protea.

The Green Man is traditionally a symbol of rebirth, representing the cycle of new growth in Spring. Under guidance from the very experienced ceramicist Rika Rouw, you will create an authentic Green Man (or Woman) clay sculpture to peak through your greenery as you bring your clay to life.
