"Tumble" is inspired by Pyrite minerals which exhibit an incredible cubed structure. Appearing unnatural in their regularity, Pyrite cubes are the expression of an ordered internal arrangement operating at an atomic scale. That natural forces can produce such perfection is astounding.

About -  The common connection in my artwork is an interest the natural environment. My sculptures will reference natural geometry, geology or patterns in nature. I often play around with scale and materials to prompt peoples imagination. Recently my work has been exploring the line between Natural / Unnatural or Real / Artificial . In a time of rapidly evolving technology these lines are becoming harder to distinguish. Rather than a statement of fact as see my works as a catalyst for discussion on these subjects and others.
