Blue bubble glass vase with a Ricard pastis bottle, found in a French market, and a local Eagle Bay lemon. The soft abstract background, seen through the window, gives the painting both depth and a peaceful beauty.

This series of paintings features some of my favourite objects on the window ledge of my studio in Eagle Bay with the bush in the background. I am capturing the start of the change of season when the dappled early morning light begins to soften and the days are a little cooler.
