Shannah Mitchell, a talented landscape painter hailing from Western Australia, finds her creative muse in the picturesque blend of her local, coastal, and urban environments. Her artistry, characterized by a loose and impressionistic style, serves as a mesmerizing testament to her ability to capture the nuances of light, colours, and textures that often go unnoticed in our surroundings.
Shannah's journey as an artist commenced in her early childhood. Growing up in Geraldton, Western Australia, she was immersed in the world of art from an early age, guided by the skillful hands of her artist father, Larry Mitchell. This early exposure fueled her lifelong passion for painting, and she harbored a deep-seated desire to follow in her father's footsteps. After completing her Bachelor's degree in Visual Arts in 1999, her commitment to her craft never wavered.
