Born in England and now based in Western Australia, Crispin Akerman is known for his finely balanced still life paintings, intimate studies of domestic objects that explore harmony, tension, and light. His timeless compositions evoke a sense of calm and contemplation, revealing the extraordinary within the everyday.

Japanese-born Maki Horanai creates intricate, dreamlike works that bridge Eastern and Western artistic traditions. Her paintings blend delicate symbolism with the spiritual luminosity of Renaissance iconography, inviting viewers into a world that exists both real and imagined.
