Dorothy Davies Prints

Dorothy draws on over 30 years experience as an international packaging designer as she creates her beautiful Still Life paintings.

There is a direct relationship between balancing the elements of subject, light, form, space and colour within small spaces on a package and composing Still Life paintings within a frame.

Her bright contemporary style often features glass, ceramics, fruit and flowers. Their playful backgrounds reflect the origin/sense of place of the objects and are a distinctive approach in the genre.

Dorothy’s studio is in Eagle Bay near Yallingup where she paints oil on canvas and often draws on the landscape and flora of the Cape region for inspiration.
