Contemporary Woman — Group Exhibition
11–19 April 2026 | Opening Night: 5 pm, Saturday 11 April
Yallingup Galleries presents Contemporary Woman, a group exhibition celebrating four Western Australian artists:
Tatiana Amaral, Victoria Paxton, Tammy Andrews, and Vania Lawson
each offering a unique expression of strength, emotion, and connection to place.
Vania Lawson’s luminous landscapes capture the shifting light of ocean and sky, layering paint to evoke memory, reflection, and timelessness. Tatiana Amaral, born in São Paulo and now based in Perth, creates vibrant collaged works using rag and rice paper to explore the textures and colours of the Western Australian landscape. Tammy Andrews of Esperance brings a sensuous energy to her oil paintings, blending thick, expressive brushstrokes in compositions that are both impressionistic and deeply felt. Victoria Paxton, a Perth-based ceramic artist, hand-builds elegant stoneware forms that balance movement, tactility, and organic beauty.
Together, their works offer an intimate dialogue between material, landscape, and feminine perspective, a celebration of contemporary women in art.
