Visitors to the exhibition can anticipate an outstanding display of artistic talent, diverse styles, and a rich blend of visual experiences. The three artists, each with their unique approach and perspective, will transport viewers into the realms of imagination, nature, and life itself through their breathtaking creations.

Christine Hingston, born in 1955, discovered her passion for painting at a young age and embarked on her artistic journey with formal training in Fine Art at Claremont College of Fine Art. After a hiatus of two decades, Christine returned to her true calling at the age of 45, dedicating her life to painting. Her work draws inspiration from her imagination, past and present surroundings, childhood memories, travels, and the joy of her grandchildren. Christine's art is an expression of her life, and her dedication to her craft is evident in her captivating pieces.

Gary Leathendale, originally from England, found his artistic calling in Western Australia after a career shift from the building industry. His natural talent for artistic self-exploration allows him to transcend styles and explore an array of ideas. A plein-air artist, Gary braves the elements to capture coastal, river, and wetland scenes, bringing the beauty of nature to life on his canvas. His works, crafted with charcoal, acrylic, oil, and mixed media, have gained international acclaim and a place in collections around the world.

Silvio Apponyi, a renowned Australian sculptor based in Balhannah, South Australia, has been sculpting for nearly four decades. His sculptures, ranging from abstract to intricately detailed pieces, celebrate Australian fauna and highlight endangered species. Silvio's mastery of various mediums, including wood, Australian granites & marbles, and bronze, allows him to create a diverse range of sculptures, from delicate 'Netsuke' style pieces to monumental public granite works. His exceptional talent was recognized early in his life, leading to a 4-year Diploma of Fine Art and an exchange scholarship to the Munich Academy of Fine Arts.

Visitors to Yallingup Galleries will have the opportunity to witness the evolution of these three remarkable artists and immerse themselves in their artistry. The exhibition promises a visual feast that will leave a lasting impression on art enthusiasts and connoisseurs.
