Kate Floyd

An emerging artist who works in oils, acrylics, mixed media, and printing techniques. Kate is inspired by the shapes and colours of the Australian bush and loves to paint them in a vibrant contemporary style.

 

Largely a self-taught artist, over the past few years Kate has been fortunate to study under some renowned West Australian and international artists, including Jennifer Sadler, Da'hange Yammanee and Becky Blair.

 

Kate left behind a previous life as a Paediatric Physiotherapist to embark on this new adventure in art. Her style and subject matter promote positivity and calmness with beautiful compositions and colour palettes.
