Spanning ten years of practice, this exhibition brings together a carefully curated selection of portraits, still lifes and painterly studies that trace Pearson’s enduring pursuit of light. Across both recent and earlier works, light is not merely an illuminating force but the subject itself — drifting across skin, hovering in air, and dissolving form into feeling.

Leanne Pearson is renowned for her confident, bravura brushwork and her ability to capture fleeting moments with honesty and immediacy. Working primarily in oils, she paints with a spontaneous alla prima approach that responds directly to observation and atmosphere.
