Kerstin Barker was born in Stockholm Sweden, where she established herself in fashion design and tailoring.
She later moved to South Africa for three years where she found another way of expressing her creativity in textile printing.
Kerstin immigrated to Australia in 1988 and commenced working in lead lighting and this inspired a passion for working with glass.
From there she has progressed to working with warm glass and this exciting process is what inspired her current collection of original and vibrant glass art creations. Presenting clocks in glass with diverse patterns and forms Kerstin has created a unique artwork with aesthetic and tangible appeal.
