Earlier this year, I was lucky enough to visit Myanmar (formerly known as Burma). It was a truly amazing experience with beautiful landscapes and people alike.
Although accessibility has been strictly regulated in the past, due to new changes in the system, the country is slowly opening up to tourism which will no doubt bring with it great change.
Even though brief, my time in this country made me realise just how fortunate I am in what I have, and allowed me to appreciate the simplest things that I often take for granted.
It was an incredible journey that I doubt I will forget.
