Gerry Reilly is a hot glass designer and artist producing a strikingly vivid range of hand blown art glass designs.

His passion for vibrant imagery, capturing impressions of the natural world in a diverse range of shapes and forms has become his signature. An element of Gerry Reilly's design inspiration comes from the vast Australian interior and the coastal landscapes of the South West. For the past six years, he has been a guest artist for the Blackstone Arts Festival held in the Central Desert indigenous community each May.

He began his thirty - year journey in hot glass in his early 20’s after training in Ceramics & Glass at Monash University and the University of Tasmania (1976-1981). Gerry worked in clay and glass studios in Tasmania and South Australia before settling in the south west of WA in the mid 1980’s.

Gerry has attended many conferences and workshops, including an advanced workshop in Venetian Glass techniques with Venetian glass master, Lino Tagliapietra. He has been heavily involved in the arts with affiliations as a Fellow of the Crafts Council of Western Australia since 1995. He has received Craftmark accredition, become an affiliate of Craft Australia in 1999 and was Workshop Coordinator for the AUSGLASS National Conference in Western Australia in 2003.
